Its goal is to identify emerging trends and draw conclusions about the impact that new forms of work may have on workplaces and professional relationships.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"1198\">The study shows that <strong data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"648\">remote work<\/strong>, initially adopted as an emergency response to the pandemic, has since become an established practice in many organizations. In Portugal, <strong data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"823\">21.8% of the employed population<\/strong> now works remotely, supported by digital tools that have enabled new levels of connectivity and flexibility. Among the most valued benefits are <strong data-start=\"968\" data-end=\"995\">work-life balance (92%)<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1057\">greater ease in attracting and retaining talent (84%)<\/strong>, while the main challenges include <strong data-start=\"1093\" data-end=\"1135\">the integration of new employees (76%)<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1195\">negative impact on organizational culture (69%)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1515\">During the conference, the presentation of the study\u2019s conclusions will allow for a <strong data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1307\">holistic discussion<\/strong>, broadening the reflection to encompass key dimensions such as the impact of new work models on <strong data-start=\"1404\" data-end=\"1420\">productivity<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1422\" data-end=\"1439\">office spaces<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1470\">technological development<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"1480\" data-end=\"1512\">urban model of future cities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1910\">The event will take place from <strong data-start=\"1548\" data-end=\"1597\">9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the PLMJ Auditorium<\/strong>, featuring the opening address by <strong data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1666\">Maria do Ros\u00e1rio Palma Ramalho<\/strong>, Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, and a <strong data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1744\">keynote speech<\/strong> by <strong data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"1763\">Samuel Duah<\/strong>, Head of Real Estate Economics at <strong data-start=\"1798\" data-end=\"1825\">BNP Paribas Real Estate<\/strong>, who will bring an <strong data-start=\"1845\" data-end=\"1874\">international perspective<\/strong> to the discussion on remote work.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"2164\">The program will also include <strong data-start=\"1942\" data-end=\"1972\">two roundtable discussions<\/strong> addressing <strong data-start=\"1984\" data-end=\"2044\">\u201cThe Transformation of Work: Business and Social Impact\u201d<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2049\" data-end=\"2094\">\u201cThe Future: Technology and Smart Cities\u201d<\/strong>, with contributions from <strong data-start=\"2120\" data-end=\"2161\">renowned experts and industry leaders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2166\" data-end=\"2248\">Commenting on the study and event, <strong data-start=\"2201\" data-end=\"2220\">Pedro Rutkowski<\/strong>, CEO of <strong data-start=\"2229\" data-end=\"2237\">WORX<\/strong>, stated:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2783\">\n<p data-start=\"2251\" data-end=\"2783\">\u201cDespite the extensive discussion around remote work, some key dimensions remain unexplored: what is its impact on the real estate market?
