Worx was responsible for placing Impact Hub, an impact entrepreneurship and social innovation network, in the office building.
Impact Hub occupied 1183 sq.m in the Neves Ferreira 13 office building, located in Penha de França, about 9 minutes from the Arroios metro. With the support of Worx Real Estate Consultants, the new space rented in the building, intended for coworking, offices and event rooms, will be called Impact Hub Penha and aims to be an incubator for sustainable companies.
Recognized for innovation and sustainability within companies, Impact Hub Lisbon decided to embrace this space for its distinctive features: the industrial style, the impeccable state of repair, the double height ceilings, the two private terraces and one for common use.
In addition, the opportunity included the chance to acquire most of the furniture from FRVR (the former tenant). This opportunity was unique given FRVR’s interest in transferring its contractual position to a new entity. Collectivehaus, as the owner, showed remarkable concern and presence throughout the process, offering assistance to HUBIP in selecting partners to carry out the services required for the work.
“When we visited the space, we immediately understood the building’s potential and we believe that this new coworking space can be a dynamic hub for the city, bringing together companies looking for a creative and inspiring environment,” notes Francesco Rocca, Director of Impact Hub Lisbon.
“The process was extremely challenging on behalf of FRVR. Our goal was not only to ensure a quick and efficient transition between entities, but also to ensure that this entity brought security to the owner of the Neves Ferreira 13 building, Collectivehaus,” adds Jorge Telles, Consultant at Worx Real Estate Consultants.
The Neves Ferreira 13 building is just a few minutes from the Penha de França viewpoint and an area of local services and commerce. Baixa, São Jorge Castle and the Alfama district are some of the nearby points of interest.
