The design of the Restelo Business Center on the Restelo Hillside in Lisbon completes the last major urban void in this area of the city.
The built volume takes space through the definition of two blocks, representative of a business center, a commercial zone and a public square that relates to the former and interconnects them through pedestrian pathways and seating areas.
The ensemble was conceived as a homogeneous whole characterizes by its formal dramatics, which marks the arrival to the urbanization for those who use the ascending route of Restelo’s main artery/road.
The dynamic forms created on the façade, the chosen materials signal the contemporaneity of the venture and the interior spaces establish a direct and constant relationship with the exterior by opening large openings that extend over the public space, simultaneously leaning over the Tejo river.
